Privacy policy

No cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. This page describes what actually happens rather than reserving rights we do not use.

The short version

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, serves no advertising and tracks nothing. There is no account to create and no form to submit. Fonts are embedded in each page rather than loaded from a third party, so reading a page here does not call out to anyone else. The only way we learn anything about you is if you choose to send an email.

This page describes what actually happens rather than reserving rights we do not use.

Cookies

None are set by this site. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Analytics and tracking

There is no analytics package, no tag manager, no pixel and no session recording. We do not know how many people read a page, which is a genuine cost of doing it this way and one we have accepted for now.

If analytics is ever added, this page will be updated before it is switched on, and it will say which tool, what it collects and how to opt out.

Advertising

There is none, and no agency can pay for a position or a mention. There are no affiliate links, so following a link to an agency's website earns us nothing.

Fonts and third party requests

The typefaces are embedded directly in each page as data rather than requested from a font service. That makes each page larger to download and means no third party is told which pages you read. Links to agency websites are ordinary links, and following one takes you to that company, whose own privacy practices then apply.

The city search

The search box on the homepage runs entirely in your browser. What you type is never sent anywhere, because there is no server to send it to. It matches against a short list of live cities held in the page itself.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served as static files. Whoever hosts it will keep standard server logs, which typically record the address of the request, the page requested, the time and the browser identifier. We do not use those logs to build any profile of a visitor, and we do not combine them with anything else.

Email

If you email hello@toplettingagents.co.uk, we hold your message and your address for as long as it takes to deal with it, and we keep correction correspondence longer so there is a record of why a page changed. Your address is not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list, and it is not shared with anyone, including the agency your message concerns, unless you ask us to raise it with them.

Information about letting agencies

The pages on this site describe businesses rather than individuals. Where a person is named, it is because they are named in a public business context, such as a company director on the Companies House register or a founder named on the agency's own website. We do not publish personal contact details, and we do not publish complaints about named members of staff.

If you are named on this site and consider the reference unfair or inaccurate, email us and it will be looked at.

Your rights

Under United Kingdom data protection law you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. In practice, for almost everyone, the answer is that we hold nothing at all unless you have emailed us. Send any request to the address above.

Changes to this page

This policy was last updated on 2 August 2026. It will be updated before, not after, any change to how the site handles data, including the addition of analytics or any third party script.
